Challenge

How might we change children's bad eating habits and teach them important information about nutrition and health ?

Prototyping and Testing
User Testing Insights
  • Too much information and text
Children prefer less text and more icons and colors. It is more fun for them.

  • Children don't use filters
They prefer to scroll through the categories and rarely use the search bar.

  • Kids love it when an app is fun
Turn cooking into a game by awarding points to the user

Takeaways
Reflection

This application required a lot of research and iteration. Designing for children isn't easy, because they're very critical, but it enabled me to create an application that's uncluttered and pleasant to use by children and adults.
